David Cesario is also a founding member of the 1st Reverse Financial Services, LLC (1st Reverse), a first-tier subsidiary of a large federally charted institution, and has the day-to-day responsibility for the company’s sales and marketing efforts. These tasks and the educational, training and development activities also fall under his supervision.

At 1st Reverse he serves as the National Director of Marketing for this Westmont, Illinois based Reverse Mortgage Lender. Under his direction, 1st Reverse has provided Reverse Mortgage education, products and services to mortgage brokers, bankers, financial services providers, insurance professionals and consumers since 2002. The company provides Reverse Mortgage Lending solutions for both FHA approved and non-FHA approved lenders. 1st

Reverse is widely recognized as an industry leader in quality Reverse Mortgage training, products and support services. The company was recently recognized as one of the top 25 producing Reverse Mortgage companies in the nation.

He manages The 1st Reverse Mortgage Store business-to-business (B2B) partnership programs, and is additionally responsible for the national marketing and training programs of the company. David creates and conducts extensive training sessions on Reverse Mortgage Loan programs, many of which are credentialed for continuing education credits in a variety of industries, and regularly speaks on the topic of Reverse Mortgage lending at national conferences and educational forums. Recently, he co-authored an on-line continuing education course on Reverse Mortgage Loans that is offered nationally to mortgage industry professionals and assisted in re-writing the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) Reverse Mortgage Course.

David has been involved in mortgage lending for over 20 years and prior to co-founding 1st Reverse, he served as Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Partner of 1st Metropolitan Mortgage Corporation. This Chicago headquartered retail net branch organization grew by over 75% during his tenure and had offices in over 30 states and opened a mortgage origination operations center in the United Kingdom.

Prior to this, he served as an integral member of the transition team following Royal Bank of Canada’s acquisition of Prism Mortgage Company, and as National Director of Corporate Training for RBC Prism Mortgage Company. He created and supervised training programs for over 2,500 employees in 40 states in this role. He also served as cochairman of this company’s Fair Lending Committee.

Before joining RBC Prism, he owned and operated his own mortgage brokerage firm, The HomeSeller Group, Inc., which acted as a mortgage, real estate and insurance brokerage firm. Under his leadership, this company won the Illinois Association of Mortgage Brokers (IAMB) “Mortgage Broker of the Year” award in 1998. In 2000, this company was again nominated for this same award.
